Hey there! I’m thrilled to share a bit about my journey into venture capital and how I’ve landed in the role of an Investor Relations Associate at Alpaca VC.

So, let’s dive in: I’ve always been a problem solver at heart. I graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, and I even sprinkled in minors in Civil Engineering and Architecture to keep things interesting. This mix instilled in me a passion for creative thinking and tackling complex problems — and it’s where my adventure really began.

After college, I took a turn into business and finance. My first stop was at Deloitte Consulting, where I specialized in strategy and operations for financial services companies. This experience introduced me to the dynamic field of finance and set the stage for my career.

Next up was a stint at Blackstone, where I joined their Hedge Fund Group to help build out strategic marketing materials and complete portfolio analyses for their LPs. This role was all about nurturing those vital partnerships with institutional clients, and it was a fantastic learning experience.

And now, I’m thrilled to be part of the Alpaca team, where I get to bring my love of building relationships and my engineering mindset to the venture capital scene. To top it off, I get to do this all while collaborating, supporting, and growing alongside this talented team.

Working at Alpaca allows me to seamlessly integrate my institutional client expertise into my current role, helping to nurture and foster relationships with forward-thinking LPs who want to partner with Alpaca.
